X ONE is a 30m motor yacht delivered by Extra Yachts in 2023, combining exhilarating performance with the interior volume of a much larger vessel. Reaching a top speed of 32 knots and offering 168 gross tonnes of internal space, she strikes a rare balance between speed and comfort. Her contemporary exterior styling is by Francesco Guida, with refined interiors by Luca Dini Design, while her innovative layout was recognised as an award finalist in a fiercely competitive 30m class.
Designed to maximise life on the water, X ONE's aft deck transforms into a waterfront lounge with fold-down platforms extending the living space at sea. Covered dining aft flows seamlessly into the main salon through full-height sliding glass doors, creating an open, connected environment. Expansive panoramic windows flood the salon with natural light, while the adjacent show galley features a large serving window opening directly onto the aft cockpit. Above, the flybridge provides a second social space complete with a helm station, bar, dining table and sun beds beneath removable awnings.

Accommodation is arranged for up to 10 guests across four staterooms on the lower deck, comprising a full-beam Owner's Stateroom, a forward VIP stateroom of near-Owner proportions, and two twin guest staterooms. Separate crew quarters accommodate five crew across three cabins, ensuring discreet and efficient service on board.
Powered by twin 2,600hp MTU engines with jet propulsion, X ONE delivers impressive 32-knot performance alongside exceptional manoeuvrability. Her shallow 1.38m draft allows access to bays and anchorages beyond the reach of many conventional yachts of comparable size. She cruises comfortably at 15 knots with a range of 576 nautical miles. Malta flagged, built to RINA classification and commercially compliant, X ONE is equally suited to private ownership or charter operation.

The first Extra X96 Triplex was started on speculation at Palumbo's Ancona yard. She became the 23.8-metre Anvilugi, delivered in 2021. Early in 2022 the yard followed her with the first 30-metre Extra X99 Fast, a planing yacht with two 2,600hp MTU engines driving waterjets and a top speed of 37 knots.
Extra Yachts was founded in 2017 and is a brand of Palumbo Superyachts, the group that also owns ISA Yachts, Columbus Yachts and Mondomarine. Its range runs from 17 to 45 metres, plus a 30-metre power catamaran, across four lines: Fast, Triplex, Global and Shadow. Each is designed around generous indoor and outdoor living, low fuel consumption and extended autonomy.
The group builds at Ancona, its headquarters for new builds, and at Savona. It has 25 yachts under construction and has bought a shipyard in Ortona, set to open in 2027. Three Extra Triplex 100s and one Extra 90 Fast are due for delivery that same year.

Guida Design is Francesco Guida's studio, and it describes its work as design plus engineering. Its heritage timeline begins in 1986 and includes Ilver, Italcraft and Sanlorenzo models. Its exteriors include Arcadia's 85, 100 and 115. Its interiors include Azimut's S6 to S10 and Cantiere delle Marche yachts such as Uptight, Gatto and Archipelago. Guida also designed the interior of the 79.9-metre My Dragon, built by Columbus Yachts in 2019. BOAT International reports that for Palumbo Superyachts Guida drew the exteriors of the whole Extra family, ending with the Extra X99 Fast. Its president and chief executive, Luca Dini, leads it from offices in Florence and Forte dei Marmi. Its yacht design work runs from the 50-metre Tribù (Mondomarine, 2007) and the 54-metre Sea Force One (Admiral Mariotti Yachts, 2008) to three more recent projects. These are the 50-metre K2 (Columbus, 2020), the 50-metre LEL (Rossinavi, 2020) and the 45-metre UV II (ISA Yachts, 2023).
