The Monaco Yacht Show 2025 concluded on 27 September, after four days at Port Hercule that once again confirmed Monaco’s position as the beating heart of the superyacht world. With 116 superyachts on display79 world premieres, and over 560 exhibitors, the 2025 edition was a mix of innovation, sustainability, and market-defining announcements.
Superyachts on Display
This year’s fleet represented every tier of the superyacht spectrum, from 35-metre entry yachts to Benetti’s 107-metre Mar, the largest yacht of the show.
Highlights included:
  • Feadship Valor (79.5m) – one of the most significant debuts, showcasing Feadship’s continued dominance in Northern European custom builds.
  • Benetti Lady Estey (67m) and Perla (50m) – part of the B.Now Oasis Deck line, reinforcing Benetti’s strength in contemporary layouts and lifestyle-oriented design.
  • Tecnomar for Lamborghini 101 – a high-octane premiere blending Italian automotive DNA with naval engineering, presented by The Italian Sea Group.
  • Oceanco contract reveal – Oceanco confirmed a new flagship project in partnership with Lloyd’s Register, set to be its largest yacht ever built.
Although the average yacht length dropped slightly from 2024, brokers noted a strong balance between brokerage listings and new deliveries, ensuring serious buyers had plenty of choice.
Market Trends and Insights
The MYS Market Report 2025 pointed to a cooling market compared to the post-COVID peak in 2021, but emphasized resilience in brokerage and mid-sized new build contracts.
Key takeaways:
  • Brokerage activity remains strong in the 35–60m range.
  • Larger yacht contracts (80m+) have slowed slightly but continue to attract strategic buyers.
  • Sustainability and explorer yachts are shaping future demand, as UHNWIs look for yachts capable of global cruising with reduced impact.
  • The SET Report echoed this trend, highlighting resilience in mid-market sales and a growing appetite for fuel-efficient technologies.
The Blue Wake Awards Debut
2025 marked the launch of the Blue Wake Awards, held at Le Méridien Beach Plaza, celebrating environmental and design innovation in yachting. Winners included:
  • TYKUN – hydrogen-powered tender system
  • Sanlorenzo – fuel-cell yacht project
  • Deasyl – alternative low-emission fuels
  • Tai Ping – biodegradable textiles
  • Silver Yachts “Reduce” – recyclable catamaran design, awarded the Special Jury Prize
The awards were widely praised for moving sustainability from concept to tangible recognition.
Tech, Toys & Cross-Brand Experiences
  • Videoworks showcased how generative AI will transform onboard AV and security, while also introducing new anti-drone and LIDAR-based solutions.
  • The Tenders & Toys Zone expanded, with electric chase boats and submarines drawing particular interest.
  • Luxury crossovers made a splash: Aston Martin unveiled its Valhalla supercar on board Here Comes the Sun, and Dassault Aviation highlighted its Falcon jet range.

Attendance and Atmosphere
  • 29,956 visitors attended across four days, slightly quieter than peak years but praised for its quality over quantityof conversations.
  • The show’s atmosphere was described as more “concentrated and business-driven”, with less spectacle and more deal-making.
  • Industry forums, including the 18th Superyacht Finance Forum, tackled global trade policy and its impact on yacht ownership and finance.
